Tahlia commenced dancing at Warringah Performing Arts School, aged 3, training in tap, contemporary, jazz, hip hop, musical theatre, and ballet. Being successful in all styles, Tahlia chose ballet as her first love and completed all RAD exams with distinction.  At 15, Tahlia commenced full-time training at the Tanya Pearson Classical Coaching Academy and danced various lead and support roles with the Sydney City Youth Ballet.  During her ballet training, Tahlia was selected as a Junior Associate of the Australian Ballet School and danced in the Prix de Lausanne in Switzerland; the Genee International Ballet Competition in Athens along with other highly regarded Australian competitions.

After a successful audition tour, Tahlia was offered scholarships at the Ajkun Ballet Theatre in New York and the Akademie des Tanzes in Mannheim, Germany.  Whilst training with Prof. Birgit Keil, Tahlia was seconded to dance with the Karlsruhe Ballet Company and was exposed to other international ballet and contemporary performance opportunities when selected to travel with the Akademie Touring Company.

Injury saw Tahlia return to Australia where she undertook further training, after rehabilitation, at the Brent Street Studios in Sydney then turned her efforts to training with the Royal Academy of Dance, gaining her qualifications as a registered ARAD teacher.

Tahlia delights in sharing her discipline and love of dance with her students.
